Dissolved Air Flotation System works by attaching micro fine air bubbles to particles in the wastewater stream forcing flotation.The air bubbles are produced by dissolving compressed air in a portion of the treated water under pressure in a specially designed dissolved air concentrator. Upon release of the pressure at DAF’s inlet, the air comes out of solution in mass attaching to the particulate matter that subsequently rises to the surface.Thus solid-liquid separation is done.

DAF Features

1. Dissolved Air Pump absorb water and air at meantime.Air and water dissolved well.Fine air bubbles ≤

    30um.

2. The complicated system which composed of recycling pump, air compressor, dissolved air vessel, ejector

    all can be replaced by dissolved air pump.

3. If the DAF is run under low pressure, dissolved air efficency will up to 99%, realse rate is nearly up to  

    99%.

4. Good attachment of micro fine air bubbles to suspension particles improve the SS removal effect.

5. Dissolved air water solution efficency 80~100%, three times efficency than traditional dissolved air

   flotation.

6. pressure volume plain curve, automatic control is easy to be realized. Simple operation, easy

    maintenance,low noise.

DAF system structure

1. DAF system is composed of water inflow, flocculation, separation, catchment and water outflow.It is quite

    similar like traditional flotation system.The setting chamber and dissolved air release chamber guarantee

    a stable and better effect performance.

2. Setting Chamber: Raw water reacted through folded plate, the flow speed is very high, if the reacted raw

    water directly contact dissolved air water,fine air bubbles will be dissipated.Air bubble attachment effect

    will be affected, flotation treatment efficiency will be low. But setting chamber will help exhaust raw water

    motion energy, averagely flow into dissolved water release chamber, and thus guarantee the removal

    effect.

3. Dissolved Air Release Chamber(DARC): DARC and separation chamber are in same tank, separated in the

    middle. Dissolved water & flocculated raw water attached here, rises slowly to the separation

    chamber;This make sure the mass attaching time of fine air bubbles and floccules, the discharge rate of 

    dissolved water up to 80~100%.
